Apoto.com is the first company which provides multi country hosting. To fulfill this aim,
Apoto aims to have Data centers all over the world. Currently Apoto.com has Data centers in
USA, Canada, UK. Soon we are planning to have data centers in Germany, France & Japan which
will extend to more and more countries as the time comes. At present Apoto.com servers are
located in NOC & Telcom centre-LA (USA), Montreal (Canada) and BlueSquare 3 DC in Maidenhead
and Docklands, London. The Datacenter features 100,000 square feet of space with redundant UPS,
air conditioning, generator backup and smoke detection/fire protection systems.
The Datacenter is connected to the Internet through 14 Gigabit Ethernet links from
eleven separate backbone providers, who each run fiber optic cable into the data center
through two separate entry points.
Our datacenter is fully switched, with multiple redundant routers, and multiple connections to
different ISPs, allowing us to provide absolute availability of the network with no down time.
Our uk dedicated servers are all located in carrier-neutral data centers in Docklands, London.
We use exclusively Redbus data centers, due to their class-leading SLA, security and power
facilities. Redbus also has the great advantage of being carrier-neutral, allowing us to connect
to several providers for redundancy. The network is designed around a high-speed switched architecture.
Each server is plugged into at least a 100mbit, fully-switched port on an edge switch.Each edge
switch is then in turn plugged into two separate aggregation switches at 1gbit, with fail-over
redundancy allowing either 1gbit link to fail.
Security for safeguarding your site and data
Our datacenters feature totally comprehensive 24/7 security. This includes the protection of
security barriers, 24x7x365 monitoring by on-site personnel to include visual verification of
all persons entering the building, CCTV video camera surveillance and a security breach alarm
provides the control room with information. All persons entering the data floor have proximity
tags to gain access which are logged and verified.
Power to maximize your connectivity and uptime
Within our datacenter, we have a scalable and sustainable power supply. A minimum of 1Kw per
square meter secure power is available, with power isolated between customer and maintained
indefinitely, plus on-site generation which can deal with both customer and plant load whilst
recharging the UPS. All the facilities are built to at least an N+1 standard; put simply, this
means that if two generators are required to provide nonstop power, then there’ll be three
installed. So rather than guaranteeing 99.99% availability, the guarantee is 100%.
Fire Protection
The fire detection and suppression system is one of the most advanced available. Very Early
Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) is installed in every facility. These highly sensitive
aspirating smoke detectors are linked to the Building Management system which is monitored
continually from a network operations center, provide very early detection. This is coupled
with a gas based fire retardant that is environmentally friendly, to put out fires instantly,
without damaging equipment.
Air Conditioning
To ensure optimum performance for your dedicated servers, all data floors are maintained at a
constant 21°C ± 2°C and relative humidity is kept at 50% ± 10%. Both are continually monitored
via the building management system.

customers' servers, network status and our connectivity to upstream backbone providers. Our
